Fort Worth’s Index Fest, which took place on June 3 at Panther Island Pavilion, included several local and touring musical artists, such headliners Dawes, Johnnyswim, Shinyribs and Oil Boom
Dawes, a Los Angeles-based folk-rockers performed in support of their highly acclaimed fifth studio album, We’re All Gonna Die, which was released last September with praise from critics and fans alike, along with a stellar mix of acts including Johnnyswim and Shinyribs; as well as the DFW-based Oil Boom.
Formerly known as Untapped Festival, Index Fest brought a stellar celebration of beer, which included 80+ breweries and 250+ beers, along with great music, food and art across the state of Texas. The Fort Worth fest took place at the Panther Island Pavilion, Texas’ premiere waterfront stage located on the banks of the Trinity River, just north of Downtown Fort Worth. The dog-friendly and event goers spent the day with family and friends listening to great music, tasting a variety of wonderful beers, and eating delicious food.
